Animals and the strength of extra virgin coconut oil

Coconut oil is gaining a good reputation for being excellent nutrition and a natural remedy. People are using it to improve digestion, to help with a host of skin problems, to increase their energy levels, to fight infections, keep their blood sugar levels in balance and a host of other uses.

How to apply coconut oil to your pets?

Either as food or massaged into their fur or skin. As food, you can either give the coconut oil on its own or mixed into their food. Most animals love it. You can never give them too much, but moderation is recommended.

Daily serving when given as food: Birds, pigeons, a small coffee spoon (3 g to 5 g); dogs and cats (5 g to 30 g); horses (100 g to 300 g).

When used as massage oil: in case of inflammation or therapeutically – generously and several times per day. For daily use 1 time per day or per week.
